Looking for a rectifier diagram

We have a 1985 50hp Force Outboard Motor, We are looking for a wiring diagram for the Rectifier because we are not sure if it is connected right. Does anyone know where we can find one.

Here is a picture of a standard square bridge recitifier. <br /> http://www.sage.lunarpages.net/wfc/di022.jpg <br /><br />you shouldn't need a wiring diagram. mercury FK650450 is just a plian old $3 square bridge rectifier in a $50 plastic bag.<br /><br />The positive terminal:<br />on a standard square bridge recitifer one of the corners is clipped. This is the positive terminal. It connects to battery positive. It may or may not be labeled "+".<br /><br />The negative terminal:<br />is diagonally across from positive. this connects to battery negative or engine ground. It may or may not be internally wired to the heatsink.<br /><br />the other two terminals:<br />there is no polarity. it is AC. either wire connects to either terminal. it makes no difference.
