I understand this has an 18 gallon inboard tank. Who's got some experience, good or bad with this setup? I'm only used to the 6 gallon cruise a day tanks. T/Y

What’s the issue?
Leak?
Pick up?
Sending unit?
Plugged vent or fill?
Old hose?

Is there an issue, or do you not know?

No known issues but anything I can't see or get access to has me concerned considering it's a 30+ year old boat. That's why I was hoping to hear folks saying that it is or isn't a well known trouble area. I'd guess it's a metal container of sorts but ethanol/water issues can probably destroy both metal as well as some kind other tank material.

anything older than 15 years old in a boat requires attention

neglect and time can take their toll.

simply do your due diligence and inspect the tank.

i would replace the fuel lines as the new ones are better from a fuel permeation standpoint
