So I have been watching a 1999 Regal 2800 LSR on craigslist the last month and watching the price go down because the guy is getting transferred to FL. Went and looked at it today, big, beautiful boat some paint needed at the bottom of the hull and the fake wood is chipping near the steering wheel that is common for regal. Overall it looked good for its age, only 430 hours on the Mercruiser 350. Put muffs on the boat and it fired right up and ran nicely. Owner just put in new upholstery, new radio and marine speakers and just got a new triple axle trailer for it.
He wants 21k for the boat and trailer. Do you think this is a good price. One thing that concerns me is when we pulled up the storage locker there were a lot of cracks in the bottom, and the access panel in the back of it for the bilge pump was rough looking and a little rot on it. Would you overly concerned about this and do you think the price is good for the boat and trailer.
I was thinking about offering 19.
