This is good sized boat and it's alot of fun. My 83 will do 32mph with a 40 Suzuki 4 stroke on flat water. Thats measured with speed sensor on my Eagle fish finder. The origional speedometer reads about 25mph. Plenty fast enough for me. Congrads!

Thanks Michael, that seems like some pretty good numbers! I'll go and try to findsome pic's of your rig.

I took the boat out again today, I actually had a friend come out with his iPhone and he had an app that would track where we had went and with speeds and such. I wish that Apple and Verizion would work out some deal so I could get that new iPhone 4 , ok back to what I was saying. So my top speed for the day was 37mph, and that is with barely any gas left so I probally had a bit more to go if I wasn't running on fumes.

O and there is for sure a difference on the bottom half of my hull from those first pic's, I have really blasted off quite a bit of paint :redface:.
