I am currently looking for a 1964 Evinrude 9.5 motor cover assembly I have also heard it refered to as a cowl. I have a 1964 Evinrude 9.5 hp model # 9422r the part number I have found is 278433. Can anybody help me locate one?
Make sure that you get one to fit 64 and 65 only, because these two years have the twist lock in the cover itself. 1966, they changed the locking mechanism entirely and put it in the lower shroud.
Yep they have just about everything under the sun, however I don't recommend going in person as you could walk out with a cart full of rare must have parts and then you have to explain to the wife where the house payment went.
