OX 66
2 stroke
250 HP
OB new too me ( IOs )
Tag indicating serial number is not readable ,
From what I understand motor is late 90s early 2000 - OX 66
fuel injected
I see on videos OX 66 has a fuse box , under fuse box lid is a fuse panel with 4 fuses 2 relays ,
On my model there is a grey box indicating fuse box, opened No fuse panel , ? only a black box with series of 3 connectors going into box,, Under box is a single inline fuse , WHERE IS THE FUSE PANEL
Removed computer lid thinking a fuse panel in that area , Nothing
Removed carb cover , Nope
Only other location is dash , previous owner installed a panel of 5 fuses ,

AM I am answering my own question ,?

If that is the case would that zero in on what year this ox66 is from

thanks as usual

Sorry just noticed I never indicated Yamaha , What I am finding is different years have different configurations of fuses , Seems the one on mine is a breaker that protects multiple areas , but no switch too reset ?

I have never heard of an auto-reset fuse. Who makes them? What do they look like?

Search auto reset breaker, you will find them

It's basically a temp breaker. Current passes thru contacts until it gets so hot that the breaker contacts separate. When it cools back down contacts pass current again. Used a lot on heavy equipment

Oh, a circuit breaker. I am familiar with all kinds of those.

I thought we were talking about a fuse.

So were talking about maybe a breaker without a reset part so "auto-reset breaker" came into the discussion
