Loadrite Trailer Brake Fluid Question

I know this is a really dumb question but I just got a boat and read the manual and it doesn't say anything about the fill level of the brake fluid. On the tongue there is a brake fluid reservoir where you put the dot 3 brake fluid...is that supposed to be filled to the top? Do I keep it filled to the top? There's no level line.

With surge brakes just fill it to the top and put the cap back on...

Re: Loadrite Trailer Brake Fluid Question

Welcome to the iboats.com forum! The experts here, which I am NOT, can help you solve any problem. You did not say whether this is a new or used boat. If new, you could check with the selling dealer's service department. I looked at LoadRite's website video's and they are not specific either. You could call LoadRite for assistance. Also, check the brake system reservoir for a manufacturer's name and contact them. Good luck!
