Can I get some ideas on loading and unloading my pontoon without wadding, I fish late into the fall and wadding isn't an option.

I rarely need to wade when loading/unloading next to a dock.

I keep a pair of hip waders in my truck for when I retrieve my boat on chilly winter days. Only takes a couple seconds to put them on and take them off. I stay dry and warm. Easy peasy. If you have to wade deeper then get a pair of chest waders.

Water too shallow?
No dock?
Scissors type trailer, not working properly?

Just can't get close enough to shore to board? Use a gangplank.

I’ve been having a hell of a time learning to trailer my new to me pontoon. I have a 25ft tritoon and the trailer has vertical guide bunks. Problem is that the boards are flat. So the skinny side of the board hits the toon, and is too little surface area for the weight so it has put a couple of long dents on the insides of the toons.

I decided to make me some wheels to guide me on. Picked up a set of wheel barrel wheels from Lowe’s and attached them to the guides. Worked like a charm! Squeezed me into the trailer without damage, too much struggle to ensure I’m perfectly aligned, or anything. See picture.
