live well pumps

My live well is behind the helm seat it pumps water in when just sitting catching bait. when under way at 1/2 to 3/4 speed it loses water. ones i stop the pump is fill the well again. this happen to anyone on here

Normal operation if I understand you correctly.

You need to have a "scoop" type intake if you want the pump to work while moving

get a high-speed pickup and a sea chest and your problem goes away

or shut-off the drains and intake when you are underway.
