I have a scanner app for my iPhone, but I can't stand listening to it at work since I heard about a break-in near my house, all the way across town. Just made me worry.

Intresting. I went to MN to a county close to mine and they carry mine and another WI county. This could get addicting. Just what I need, something else.. Only thing close to me was a traffic stop. Duluth had a driveoff at a gas station. A 75 year old guy with heart issues and 4 stents was having another heart attack. A 75 year old woman fell off her chair. Apparently, "she can't get up".

Interesting tho, there's something always going on, even in these small towns...

I have a smiliar app downloaded on my droid.
Since I travel through 12 States for work, it is cool to listen to WHY I am sitting on the freeway for 3 hours, last time it really paid off was in NC/SC, when a fuel tanker flipped and exploded. Was cool listening to the real facts as they happened with the EMS and SCPD chatter.

Swung over to Chicago for awhile. Holy cow! Literally, non stop. Guns, domestics, burglaries. An 84yr old grandmother beat up by grandson... Sad stuff. Sure is nice living in the woods....

I just checked, it called Scanner Radio.
Here is a trip in South Carolina, that had a bad problem. I turned on my camcorder and the scanner app, because I am a nerd like that..lol

One of the scanner apps for the Iphone is called 5-0 Radio. It's got more than just a police scanner, but also a bunch of radio stations. Can't remember if it's free or not, but it's a good app.

P.S. I find that another fine town for spirited listening is Detrioit...
