I recently purchased a 92 Suntracker.. I noticed when rewiring, this little white tubing under the dash it was cut, but the end goes under the boat one goes to the motor and the other just sits on top the left pontoon.. can someone please tell me what this is for... please no rude comments if it's somthing super easy that I should know... Thanks,
Jay

welcome aboard.
the speedometer pitot tube. my guess is your speedo doesnt work.

also, the front speedo pickup hole in the lower unit appears to be caulked shut.

speedometer pitot tube hose is $20 per 100 feet.

Is this a pontoon boat, possibly with drains leading from the drink holders? It's hard to say, but that middle pic looks like it has a broken off hose nipple from one of the drink holders. No huge deal, but it keeps rain water that ends up in the drink holders from getting into the cabinets below where it has a tendency to collect and grow biology experiments....

3rd pic. is definitely the speedo tube that leads from the engine's lower unit to the back of the speedo.

Forgive me but I got no idea what you mean by speedo. Are these hoses essential? The boat seems to operate just fine without them....

Welcome aboard.

Speedo is shorthand for speedometer,

Unless I'm mistaken, the hoses in the first 2 pics drain rain water that collects in the drink holder overboard. Of course the boat will function without them.
