Talk about a complete team ... Hawaii just beat Tennessee in 4 innings, 13-0. In the last 4 games Hawaii has scored 42 runs to opponents 1 run. Today Hawaii hit 5 home runs (1 grand slam). Hawaii pitching has a .031 ERA for the series!

I don’t think these umps get paid, but this guy behind the plate doing Texas vs Pa. Is horrible.

Just got home … 6-4 Texas over PA in the bottom of the 5th .., GO H-burg!

PA is falling apart in the top of the 6th …

Got the last 2 outs … PA needs to score at least 4 to tie in the bottom of the 6th, or their awesome season is over …

And PA’s run is over. Congratulations Hollidaysburg on a great season! Texas will play Tennessee tomorrow.

They gave it a good run. The kid that made the catch on the home run ball was unreal. Not to harp on it but the home plate ump was terrible he definitely had a huge impact on the outcome of the game.

I always enjoy the LLWS. Takes me back to when the game was fun and it's great to see the emotion and some of the amazing talent these young kids have.

Nashville is the last team with a chance knock off Hawaii. Hawaii has only allowed 4 hits in the entire tournament according to the LLWS web page

Curaçao won and now Hawaii is beating Tennessee 3-0 in the middle of the 3rd Hawaii coming to bat. Hawaii scored 1 in the first and 2 in the second.

Tennessee holds Hawaii to 0 runs on 0 hits in the 3rd. Still 3-0. Tennessee is looking for their first hit.

Tennessee scores 1 on 1 hit and 1 error in the top of the 4th. Hawaii scores 2 on 3 hits (1 home run) and 1 batter hit by a pitch, but leave 2 on base. After 4 it is 1-5 Hawaii leads.

Tennessee gets its 2nd hit but that is all in the top of the 5th. They have 1 more inning to break out the hit sticks and pull this one out.

Hawaii gets 2 base runners, but no score. Last inning and TN down 1-5.

TN got a lead off single, but next batter hits a line drive the the second baseman who throws it to first for the double play. This Hawaii team has the fundamentals down!

Tennessee’s next batter strikes out in 6 pitches and Hawaii wins the US Championship and will play Curaçao for the World Championship!

Tennessee lost in the consolation. LLWS championship game has started. Curaçao opened the game with a hit and Hawaii uncharacteristically didn’t cover second, allowing the runner to advance. A bunt and a wild pitch that broke a camera behind home plate led to a Curaçao score. The first half of the inning ended with no base runners.
