Listing Fix. Think this will do it?

I noticed that my boat is listing to the right a little when at rest. It didn't do that before I put the hard top on, and the hard top is well balanced, not enough to cause any noticeable listing.

When in the boat this weekend, I realized that I took out the cuddy cabin tri-fold door. The door is very heavy, being made from 3/4 press board with vinyl wood grain finish. So I attribute the starboard list to the missing 35lbs or so that the door weighed on port side.

To compensate, and also move weight forward (the boat is transom heavy) I thought moving the battery from the starboard rear to the port side under the cuddy cabin v-birth bases Lots of space, and the battery is huge and heavy. Figure it will kill two birds with one stone - move weight forward, and move weight to port.

It will require about 10 feet of battery cable to relocate the battery. Any suggestions on the cable size? (85hp Force - 3 cylinder).

Think its enough of a change to correct a minor list?

Thanks!

Oh yeah, battery cable is expensive. I'm going to check with the marine salvage yard to see if they have what I need before ordering new.
