The problem was the stereo box door. As you know, they have a weather flap on them, and this flap goes into the top of the box,and pulls -out, and down to cover the electronics. My daughter, not being familiar with this feature, tried to close the box whil it was still partially inside the top.This resulted in causing the plastic cover to snap in two.<br />What I got for replacement was the later model,and it replaced the whole electronics box. Works like a charm,and looks spiffy too
