Limber holes?

I have a 92 Four Winns horizon 220 and it has only 1 limber hole in the engine mt stringers (only on one side). It is 1" above the hull so water pools above the stringers.
I know I should cut some limber holes in the stringers so the water can drain into the bilge. What size should they be and do they need to be glassed or just resin applied after I cut the holes?
Thanks for your expertise and help.

1 inch or so, then smear some epoxy, or resin.

What?

Yeah, 1 inch is fine. Water doesn't need much space to flow.

But, seal it twice to make sure it's sealed. You do not want ANY water soaking into the stringers.

My 88 4winns is missing limber holes, and has some too high....
