Rottenray, Check out your history books and think of what they did. They changed, yes changed to give rights to the people not take them away. Our forefathers were indeed left wing liberals of the highest level, they not only disagreed with authority they overthrew it.

True to the right wing nutjob behavior, Boomyal, you manipulate the truth. Your choice in news source stated, "Conservative wins official count by 0.6 percent."

.6% is hardly an "insurmountable lead", or did I miss something?
Nice job Boomyal, avoid the true issue. Why won't you address it?

Just in case you forgot, my point/question is,
".6% is hardly an "insurmountable lead", or did I miss something?"

Must be the redumblican spin again.

Txwinner, I agree that they did over throw Englands authority. I'm thinking maybe our definitions of conservative and liberal are different. As I see it liberals promote the "nanny state" where the government provides everything and all you have to do is go along and not question them. Conservatives want less government and more individual responsibilty. Wouldn't it frighten you to find out you are actually a conservative? As I recall in the history books one of the final straws was the tea tax put on by England which of course resulted in the Boston Tea Party. No taxation with out representation I believe was the phrase. Look at how that contrasts today where the government, especially dems want to tax everything we do or use. Now I'm known to be a little dense at times but causing a revolution over high taxes certainly doesn't seem like a liberal idea! If they were in fact liberals they would have kept the tax and figured out a way to get a piece of the action. Kind of like tobacco, don't out law it just sue the big companies for everything they can. :$
