Leaky Nissan Lower Unit

My Nissan NS5B lower unit will not stop leaking, new seals were put in and the oil runs out in a stream. I took it to a shop and they let me know it would cost about $300.00for a lower unit repair, could it be the prop shaft is worn too bad?

Probably new seals are badly seated, an air pump is needed to put presssure on lower gear case for some time, then check if leaking, if not, seals are correctly seated. Prop shaft near impossible to wear out.
