I have a couple of leaking windows in my 1991 Bayliner Trophy. While I am rebuilding the boat I want to fix this issue. I was hoping that someone here would have a pic of how the windows goes together (get installed) and also of a new factory installed one. Here is a pic of mine currently.

As you can see the previous owner caked the sealant on trying to fix this issue. I want to remove the window and re-seal it. Making it better. I do not want to have to buy a new one.

They make black 5200 and or 4200 if you don't get a better answer :D My friend resealed his windshield with it and it came out looking pretty darn good.

If you dont see fasteners on the inside that match those in the pic..then those screws go directly into the port.

Remove the ring and go from there.

If you want to remove the port then remove the ring..try to score the silicone then gently from the inside work the port out.

Are your frames painted or anodized???? Silicone will NOT stick to aluminum for long at all.....Use either black paint of most any kind or clear spray on the aluminum, then the silicone will stick properly...........

Well my windows where plastic and very easy to remove. It just take two people to remove them. One inside to remove the nut and someone on the outside to hold the screw driver. The silicone (black) was only on the outside of the boat and was cut using an olfa knife after the screws where removed. It appears that these windows have never been removed to be resealed before. If anyone is has this same issue here are the pics form mine after the windows where remove. It was a very easy job. I hope they help you.
