Leaking gas

I have a 1988 150 HP yamaha outboard, at idle speed I have gas flowing in to the engine clowing<br />looks to be comming from the middle carberator,I have already checked the hoses no problem there,where else should i check where do i go from here.<br /><br />Thank you both for the help will let you know how I made out.

Proline..... The Yamaha is not my line of expertise, but your problem is a common one. If fuel is flowing out of the center carb, the float needle valve is sticking open for some reason. The cure is to dismantle the carb to a point whereas you can correct the problem.

Take a screwdriver handle and thump the bowl gently to see if you can free-up the needle valve without dismantling the carb. But keep an eye on it for a while after that,as it may stick open again.If it does,then it will have to be removed and cleaned.
