Lauson motor?

Does anybody have a clue what this is or the value also have an Evinrude a little smaller all steel casing

A Lauson was a very early 4-stroke outboard. Probably from the 1950's. Post the model number and we can narrow it down. They are not the rarest, but they do hold some collector appeal. Might be worth a couple hundred.

Twin cylinder, 6 HP made 1954-1956. They made singles and twins for a short time before being bought out by Tecumseh, who discontinued the outboards. Parts availability now is slim. It has a limited collector market Figure $50 as a wallhanger for someone's man cave, or up to $200 if you can find a collector that's into Lausens.

I have 39 Evinrudes in my collection and I rarely pay more than 20 bucks for models in the same vintage.
