Ricohman - Glad to see your launch and day went well. I hope all goes well with the boat from here on in. It sure does look great!

Whaaaat?? Sorry for my dumbfoundedness, but what can get you the fine? Putting the plug in at home? Or not putting it in at home? What is the rationale?

Having the plug in the boat while the boat is being trailered. Its to try to help keep the invasive species that can be transported in bilge and livewell water at bay. We have issues with milfoil and zebra mussels getting transported from lake to lake, so they passed that law a couple years ago to try to eliminate some of the problems - and they've been doing tons of boat inspections at the launches to make sure that there are no mussels on the boats. Mines been looked at 6 times in the last 3 weeks - they do it while I'm getting the boat loaded so its no bother at all.
