Well I can tell you that the pic you posted wasn't a loading ramp issue, it was the driver of the pickup hitting something and then the boat coming forward.

Checkout the Stupid Human Tricks forum on this board... plenty of launch ramp shenanigans there.

This is one of my favorite boat launch vids.

I love watching drunks trying to load their boat at the end of the day, friggin hilliairious, evan had to get wet rescuing a few after they fall off the dock:) One guy was so plastered I did it for him than called johny law to come get him, not being a butt head, but I prolly saved his life and who knows who's elses.

Well Done!!! And feel no guilt for rescue him you did as well as the rest of us out there on the road with these jackwagons. Launches are down right entertaining but my humor ends when the key goes in the ignition. Not one bit of conpunction about chatting with the nice 911 dispacther.

You throw their keys in their dessert? That's just cruel; especially if we're talking about nanner puddin'. I loves me some nanner puddin'.;)

Along those lines, we have heavy boat/trailer traffic on our city interstate in the late weekend afternoons. I give those people wide berth, figuring there's a real good chance they are drunk and almost certainty that they are tired from a long day.

Nanner puddin' would have to stand on it's momma's shoulders to be able to reach up high enough to kiss strawberry shortcakes butt!!!

We have an "open container" law on the water here in 'Bama, just like driving on the road!!! Any idiot that is stupid enough to drink and operate a vessel will be thrown in the "crossbar hotel" until he's bailed out!!!

Alcohol is for when the day is done and the boat and truck are put to rest for the day... what's so hard to understand about that???

Not to mention what the key would do to your teeth. As fast as I eat nanner puddin' that could be an issue.

I've seen a couple other pics of that same accident. The amazing part is that the safety chain and stern straps made ZERO difference. (both were attached, and both easily snapped with the momentum of a heavy boat not wanting to come to a stop in about 1 foot, like the trailer/tow vehicle did)
