Hey hey, I got that old thing runnin. Went for a little putt today, but couldnt take the choke off. Im guessing cloggy jet? I think I will replace the carb with one of my others... I would like to find out what year she is, mostly just out of curiosity. The guy I got it from said 72 But is has the older fuel pump and choke mechanism, I suspect it to be earlier. Heres what it said on the softplug 35524 12574 I forget which was serial or model...Thanks!Craig

Re: Lark 40

wow, thats older then i suspected. Does anyone by chance know whether or not the carb from my 65 will bolt up? And I could use some enlightenment on the working of the 61 choke mechanism, theres like 4 hoses going into that carb and choker, Im not sure what does what and if it tends to work well or be finicky. Should I bring my newer (65) choke (electric) along with that carb, or keep the old one?THanks again!!!Craig
