Great news. I hope they can straighten out his medicine. It is hard for a lot of people to understand that the brain can work a totally different way for some people. Most of us think that we can control everything we do by just thinking about it and making a good choice given the details of any situation. When your brain is not functioning in a way we would call "normal" (please take that word with a grain of salt, no offense intended), especially after going off medications, the brain and your thinking can be totally different than what we would be used to. What we would normally think is absurd or dangerous, seems totally reasonable to the individual in these circumstances. I am glad that Lance will be getting the help he needs. JB, it will be very hard on your family for a while, but Lance, your daughter and grandkids need all the support they can get. These are the problems easily tear a family apart because people do not understand without going through it themselves. Good luck to you and your family.
