Well, I'll be heading to Vegas again for SEMA the first week in Nov. This will make my 23rd year attending the show. But by this time I've seen it all and done it all in Vegas. What I haven't seen is Lake Mead from the water. I'll kick in $ for fuel if any iBoat member wants to take a cruise! :) I can even get you a show pass if need be...

Whoa! 23 straight SEMA shows? Dude, you need to get a life! Like me! I've been to 36 straight Indy 500s. Bad habits are hard to break.

Re: Lake Mead

Hey Volphin. Check out the thread that Lipp posted. I am not able to make this work as my boat is currently in Havasu. However, one of the others may be able to. At a minimum you need to drive out there. When you crest the hill in Boulder and first see the lake you will be blown away. And then when you realize you are only seeing 1/6 of the Lake you are dumbfounded. I also recommend driving down to the Dam, and also checking out The Hacienda Hotel and Casino/. There are some wonderful pictures there of the dam's construction and it is worth poppin' in for a few mins just to walk the walls. Good Steakhouse as well. I would also consider renting something at Las Vegas/Lake Mead Marina(s).
