Re: Lake mead

I've seen boat's parked at the casino's before, check with them and see if it's possible and if there are any clearance issues in their parking garage.

I'm not aware of any secure boat parking at Mead, other than the storage lots. I've seen people park their boat/trailer out there and leave it, then come back to use it. Though, I wouldn't do it....

I've left my boat in many Casino parking lots over the years. Has never been a problem. You can flip security a few bucks to keep an eye on it too. My preference is to get a slip at the Marina I will end up at. This way I don't have to haul out each day either . . .

Re: Lake mead

the Vegas casinos aren't really boat friendly, or trailer friendly for that matter, for the most part from what I've seen except the ones that offer RV services. Laughlin is more suited for that. If you're planning on spending a lot of time on the lake you might think about staying closer, like at the Hacienda, up through Boulder towards the dam. That's where all the boat peeps stay. Or rent a slip like QC mentioned and your daily launching routine will be a lot easier and shorter, and no towing.

BTW - welcome to the site

FWIW, I've had my boat at The Rio, Caesar's Palace, the Tropicana and the Mirage. They all have RV parking outside. The Hacienda is our favorite, but if you planned for the strip, then it is what it is. Definitely doable in my experience.
