Kwik Drop seat pedestal

Has anybody used the Kwik Drop seat pedestal? I like the consept of it,but do they hold up and work like they say it will.? Is it worth the $100.oo price tag?

I don't use one (but should) and several of my friends do have one and like it. Its a great safety feature.

looks like it will require maintainance, keeping it lubricated. but great idea.
