Knock Sensor Wire?

Below is a pic of the wire to the knock sensor. Can't find where it goes.
I pulled the engine out for work, now it's back in and ...
Yes, I know, the wire is only six inches, how hard could it be?

Hard to tell in the photo so just wondering what color/s is the wire? Also is this the Starboard/right side of the boat or port/left looking from aft towards the bow?

Sometimes the knock sensor is connected to an engine block water drain Y type fitting.

Wire is black.
This is on the port side.
Photo is facing aft.
The manual says the sensor is in the engine block, located right behind the fuel cooler assembly port leg. It is not.
