Any advice on mounting a transducer

The question I have is a transducer is usually mounted on the stern as far away from the prop wash as possible
Given the unique shape of the 528 pro where and how are people mounting the transducer bracket

Instructions says to place at least 15 inches from prop

Yes I currently have it mounted on a Zodiak on a bracket I made strapped onto one of the tubes
On the KMV. 528 Pro given the shape of the hull and transom which surface of the boat are people mounting the transducers to
