QUESTION, I have a 1987 Mercury 150 HP. I've been working on it for 3 + months. Last time on the water I had a hard time starting. Once we lowered the motor it started but did not run to well. Got it home and rebuilt the Fuel Pump & replace the fuel lines. Started up but when I raised the Tilt (Trim) Motor up it DIED. Lowered it and restarted, at a certain spot when raising it dies again. ( I had it in Neutral, in case it might make a difference.) Is there some kind of limit or mercury switch that either kills it, or prevents it from starting with the motor raised at a certain spot? Thanks in advance
