Just a couple photos showing how I handled my kicker, and the swing down telescoping boarding ladder on my Mariner. And yes, a 15 hp kicker is a bit much, but its the only small motor I had with electric start.
Nice clean work and nothing wrong with a 15. If built like OMC models, it’s the same or similar weight as a 9.9. And if it has to be emergency power to get back in, you will be thankful for the extra power
