I have a 1991 Bayliner ciera sunbridge 2655 . I am trying to find out mounting a 9.9
Evenrude outboard motor that weighs 72 pounds . I have a factory molded swimstep that sticks out past the outdrive . the swim step goes the full 8 feet wide . I have been doing some searching on the internet and getting mixed messages on this subject . if he swim step can handle 3 people standing on it at the same time , each weighing 200 pounds to equal 600 pounds total and possibly more , is there an objection to mounting a kicker motor to this boat ? If this can be done , what type of mounting bracket would be recommended ? long shaft outboard . thank you
