1977 Evinrude 35HP; electric start<br />Model: 35753H; SN: E0005164<br /><br />Son's motor ran well last Fall ; boat was in indoor storage locker all winter and motor would not fire this spring. I picked up a spark tester, and there is NO fire on either ignition coil when I try to start it with the ignition switch; battery has been charged and flywheel spins rapidly when cranked. <br /><br />I picked up a Clymer manual at the library, but it is very confusing. Can someone explain to me, in simple terms, how to perform a "key switch elimination" test?<br /><br />Thanks for your help.
