Key Points to ask about a Tahoe 215xi

A friend is looking for a good deal on a "like new" Tahoe 215xi. He has no idea how/where to begin, especially dealing with a used boat. We own a Mariah Shabat 212z, with a 350, and have plenty of room for guests and have no problem pulling skiiers, etc. I just need some help from folks who own Tahoes on how to advise him. Any suggestions would be welcomed. Thanks!

I would just make sure there are no gelcoats cracks on the transom or any were on the boat for that matter. Other then that you should be allowed to test it on the water which is were you will learn the most about the boat. Hole shot, handling, and various other things. What size motor does the boat have?
