Hey guys, I am currently the new owner of a 14.5 foot Kennedy Kraft. While the boat is in relative good condition, i would like to do some minor upgrades at least. Starting with adding nav lights. I find evidence that bow running lights exisited before from screw holes and wire run under rub rail, but i cant for the life of me find where the stern/anchor light was located. Any help here. Pics will follow. Another thing is i can't seem to find any information on Kennedy Kraft itself. i gather that they are no longer in exsistince but i was wondering if anything about them at all. thanks.

Re: Kennedy Kraft information

hi....welcome to iboats !

tho im not framillar with kennedy craft, we lost a lot of boat manufacturers over the years....so chances are they were swallowed up by a different company, and exact parts are no longer avalable.

the good news is that nav lights and stern lights can be bought anywhere for cheap.

i doubt that the wires for the bow nav lights were run under the rub rail on the exterior of the boat. the wires are generally wired thru the bow on the nose of the top cap of the boat, and fed to the drivers side under the cap.

the stern light is usually located on the back of the boat, on either side of the top of the gunwhales or on the aft section of the top cap.
the wires are again fed thru the cap[ and run down the drivers side gunwhales to the drivers switching console.
