I just bought a 1983 21.5' Kencraft CC. Its generally in great shape for the year but I would like to replace the windshield, find a good used T-top and possibly add aluminum railings around the bow. Where could I find parts for something that year? Any ideas/help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Kencraft Replacement parts

Welcome to iboats!

Kencraft is still in business but finding replacement parts for a boat that old is going to be hard.
Try contacting them from their web site:
http://www.kencraftboats.com/seaking/index.html

I see older boats for sale often on Craig's List, maybe post an ad or look at the Raleigh NC or Wilson NC Craig's List. Not sure where live, add that to your profile!
(the factory is about 20 miles from where I live)

The other option is looking for a used T Top on Craig's List, I found one for my boat there.
The bow rail might be harder to find, but there are people that sell used boat parts.
The bow rail on my ProLine is almost a perfect match for my neighbors KenCraft...he's asked if I'll sell it!
The same for the windshield, look on Craig's List, if it's glass, an automotive glass shop might be able to make one. Making one out of Plexiglas is another option.

boat junk yard; (Budget Boats in Chesapeake Va)
"free" boats on Craigslist but there are seldom center consoles just bow riders and cruisers.
