I'm currently trying to figure out how to keep my passengers cool. I plan on buying a bimini top but I'm not sure how to keep the front passengers cool. Attached is the picture of a boat that has a similar front to mine. Any ideas or suggestions?baylinercapri1.jpg

Re: Keeping Cool

Just drive really fast hitting lots of waves, lots of water and wind in the face haha :). On a serious note, we used to have a some what of a bimini top for the front of our open bow? Worth a shot, or you could try one of those dc powered air conditioners. Or you could custom build something yourself and have more pride in it.

Try Bimini misters when you get your top. Neat idea that is really simple and cost effective.

Bimini Mister looks like a neat idea. I have seen misters while standing in lines at amusument parks. They work very well to cool of immediate area. (I like how they spell debris on their website)

Jump in and go for a swim? When cruising, I stop every 15 - 20 minutes. Kill the motor, dive in, clime out, start up and go. Just good fun.

Re: Keeping Cool

some people put 2 bimini's on a boat. there are also bimini extenders--some are flat panels that slide out; some are soft and are held up by poles like a tent fly. All for sitting, not for driving.

there's only so much you can do before interfering with the boat's function. After all, it's an outdoor thing. A boat like yuors isn't made to be enclosed or covered completely--that's what dock houses and party barges are for.
