Hi
I’d love to hear from owners/anyone with any valid views, experiences, issues or otherwise with reference to the 2.1l 4 cylinder 75-115 mercs.
I’ve had one for 3 years now. Put over 1300 hours on her so far. Few wee findings over this time and a wee niggle to sort over winter …but generally an outstanding thing.
Enough from me…tell me your thoughts..for better or worse.
Thanks.

Same story as always, if you have a motor that has been a good one with little or no issues then you love it !! However if your unlucky enough to get a bad one that has caused you problems, then your gonna hate it. Better off knowing the percentage of problems folks have had vs the number sold....then the average cost of repairs made to those with issues.

Fair point. Keen to hear any and all things…good or bad.

That sounds like the shift sensor or trim sensor that there was a bulletin about ages ago.
