I am now thinking of installing a manual choke,

It'll be a 'ell of alot Easier to Just Fix the Automatic Choke.........<br /> IF there's Anything Wrong with it.......<br /><br />In Other Words,..........<br /><br />Fix the Problems,....... After you Identify them..... <br /><br />Instead of Cobbing Cures onto the Symptoms.........

Let me get this right. To start up engine from cold, I open the throttle all the way, bring it back to fast idle and then start her up, as per volvo manual. Do you all agree?

Ayuh,.........<br /><br />Moving the Throttle to Full,.... Sets the Automatic Choke........<br /><br />Pulling the Throttle Back,......Allows a Start, Without Reving the Snot out of it.......
