I can only imagine what the salt water is doing to the wheel bearings and such...
Actually, should be none the worst for wear if the guy does his due diligence and hits the under carriage wash when he gets out.
Driving in saltwater up to the running boards was a given if you spent enough time on the island.
Bought the Tahoe new at the peak of my tournament participation. Was religious about hitting the car and undercarriage wash on the way off the island each time.
Tahoe made it 17 years before rust started to show on the rockers. My BIL Silverado, bought at the same time, didn’t fair nearly as well and it was nowhere near the beach. I chalk it up to my diligence of keeping the under carriage clean.
Guess we’ll see how the aluminum bodied F150 holds up.
