Re: Just have to share this worm.

cntrysngr, i think what lubedude meant by the texas rigged worm means the layout of the hook. it is poked into end of head then out the side. then you pull hook out hole until the eyelet is at the end of worm. then put hook tip back into worm body. this basically means weedless/snagless type rigging.

but also texas rigged usually also refers to the way you use the weight. it means using a slip type weight that slides up/dwn line, usually done with a bullet type sinker.

heck, i figured it would be a whole lot ez'r to let you see a diagram. ck out these links
http://www.watergremlin.com/WW2.HTM

http://www.basspro.com/servlet/catalog.CFPage?mode=article&objectID=29044&cmid=FON2

Re: Just have to share this worm.

I e-mailed him a long time ago. He responded initially and said he'd send some samples to me, but I never received them. I tried e-mailing him to see what was up, but no response. No prob... there's a million other plastics to choose from. I've been thinking about molding some of my own creations as a winter project anyhow. ;)

Re: Just have to share this worm.

For those of you who watn to use this style worm NOW. you can go here:
http://www.bigpiglures.com/ripper.htm

I've never tried the rippers from this company, but have tried Javier's rippers. And they definately work great. Once Javier gets his stuff set-up right I will definately order from him. He sent me 2 free bags to sample.

Re: Just have to share this worm.

So, I wonder who is stealing from who?

Just like the senko, everybody is making them, or worms that look like them.

I have to admit now that the senko brand has an edge as far as how long they hold onto them. Bass "EAT" Senkos. ( you have no idea how hard it is for me to say that)!

Re: Just have to share this worm.

No problem! Sorry for the delay. I've been out of the loop on these for a long time.
Big pig lures and I buy our molds from the same place but I believe he modified his bait to make a little longer.

For the best price on these try a Ebay search for "bass8baits".
