This 4 1/2" little rascal dosnt look like much, but its the fish catchingest worm I have ever seen. I get them from a guy on Ebay, they are $3.00 for 10. I fish them wieghtless with a #3 wide gap worm hook rigged texas style. They have an awesome fall action. The body falls flat, and the tail rides in an upward wiggle back and forth. They fall very slowly. They are a hand poured worm, so they are flat on the bottom side so the tail is very thin. You dont need to impart "ANY" action to them, just let them naturaly fall. They fall about a foot in two seconds. I guarantee them to outfish a Senco type worm, and thats saying something.

Ive been fishing them with the setup I explained earlier with the "Corky" as a strike detector, They will pick this thing up so softly sometimes all you will see is a slight tick of the line.

Re: Just have to share this worm.

Thanks for sharing your secret, LD. Is that $3.00 including shipping? Are you allowed to give us a vendor name, or at least a search phrase that will bring these to the top?

I thought this thread would get poofed cause of the pictures. ;)

What made you decide to try 'em? Let me guess, you were attracted by the upward back & forth tail wiggle? Just don't tell your wife. :)

I use those when I am floating or wading for river smallies. You are right on the bite. I have had them take those when they wouldn't touch anything else.

I did a search on these little puppies and was unable to find any on ebay. I'll try his email and see if I can get ahold of him.

Can someone explain this? What's "Texas Style"? Give it some boots and a stetson, and it's good to go? :D

Seriously though...I am desperate to find something that works and would like to give this a shot.

Thanks!

Re: Just have to share this worm.

Unless Texas style and Texas rig are different, it is when you put a bullet weight (free moving on the line), then a hook. This is great for fishing cover and shoreline. The bullet weight just moves around on the line creating worm rigging
So to say Texas rig and weightless as the the same is inacurate. Weightless is just that, weightless. This is great for really slow motion around cover.

Re: Just have to share this worm.

Hi everyone! I'm the guy who makes these little baits. All the ones I've poured contain no salt. I'm thinking of pouring a few with salt like a senko to give a better fall rate. We'll see how they turn out.

Thanks Water! I sent a note to Bass8baits to see if I could get a free sample. New to bass fishing, so any little tip helps. If these work I'll order a bunch! :D

Thank you for coming on here, and welcome to the forums, but be very carefull about soliciting you baits here, there are very srtict rules. But as this whole thing is my fault, Oh well.

P. Re: Just have to share this worm.

Thanks! Actually I'm going to shut down for awhile until I get my new equipment up and running. The baits I was offering were for free! I would like some opinions on these baits being salted. All the free samples are taken. I'll have them shipped out later this week.

Re: Just have to share this worm.

:( I got mine a few weeks back but someone in my house misplaced them I have not been able to find them. I was really looking forward to fishing with them, hope i can find them so I can give them a shot. Bass8bait dude, thanks for the sample, if you get going again let us all know so I can buy some worms from you. Definately worth a try since you went through the trouble of mailing out samples to folks.
