Just bought our first boat, new (never titled) 2007 Q4 L

Wife and I live in central Florida... tonight we bought a 2007 new (never titled) Tahoe Q4 L.

It's blue with the 3.0... everything looks new, as it is. Apparently this sat a dealer in Tampa that went bankrupt and has been bank owned until a dealer in Orlando purchased it recently.

Anyway, we got it for $12.5k. We really wanted a new boat that hasn't been abused. The lowest price we found was about $16k out of door for a 17' Bayliner, so I think we got a good deal on the Tahoe.

Anyway, I just want to say hello. I'm sure I'll be on here asking questions. As I matter of fact, I do have a few questions:

1. I noticed the CD player is a Jensen. Was that the factory radio for a 2007 Tahoe or did the dealer install a new one?

2. During my test drive, I noticed the boat was pulling slightly to the right. I asked the sales rep if the trim tab needed to be adjusted and he said boats naturally pull to the right (torque?). Sounds like BS to me, but this is my first boat.

3. Also during test drive, the steering wheel was slightly squeeking...not sure if I just need to hit it with some lithium grease or if something else could be going on.

1. Tahoe uses Jensen radio primarlily, it came from the factory in my 2010 q4.

2. There is a little fin that sticks out above your prop, you adjust that for prop torque.

3. Some grease might do you good on the steering considering it's been sitting around in the hot humid florida weather.

Btw, you might want to look into smart tab sx, it made a world of difference on my q4, and welcome to q4 ownership!
