Jumping fuel gauge

The fuel gauge needle continually jumps what the boat is in action It is a brand new fuel sender and don't know what to do next??

Does it jump around when the boat is not moving? If it doesn't, then the sender float is simply bouncing up and down because of the shape of the tank. A little more detail about your boat, the fuel tank, and why you replaced the sender in the first place.

The fuel sender wasn't working at all so I replaced the fuel sender an now the needle jumps arounds only when the boat is moving its a sealed plastic tank and when I take out the sender and move the ring thing up an down slowly the gauge works well
