jon boat / bass boat trailer

I have a 14 fiberglass jon boat, but the only trailer I have is for a bass boat. I hauled the boat home on it, it's a nice SAFE trailer but the problem I guess is purely cosmetic. The boat kinda looks out of place on it. Is the anybody out there that's modified a small bass boat trailer to haul a big jon boat with?

I don't mean cutting and narrowing and things like that, I'm talking guides bunks etc. I have been a lurker here for a while, but this is my first post. GREAT site! Everybody seems friendly ,and there's a wealth of knowledge here. Thanks for any help!!

I have the boat off the trailer right now, but I can have some pics tomorrow. May end up trying to trade for a smaller trailer

Yeah, I think looking for a smaller trailer is your best bet. I see them around here on CL all the time in the $150-$200 range. That doesn't help you of course (unless you live in central Arkansas), but I bet you can find a cheap one in your neck of the woods that will work.

You could always use it as an excuse to get a bigger boat

What happened to the tracker that was on that trailer?

It had a 15' Skeeter on it.

I'd trade you but my trailer isn't in as good a shape as yours. That and you might be in california for all I know.

I'm not in California, i'm in Georgia. I think trading for a smaller one is the direction I'll probably head in.
