engine is stuck in reverse , even with the controls in forward the engine is still going astern could it be a broken shear pin?any ideas chaps much appreciated les

Sounds like your cable or shift linkage is broken, Les.<br /><br />It could also be a loose connection in your control box.<br /><br />Good luck.

do you mean the linkage inside the casing? all the controls seem to be pushing and pulling the gear lever ok thanks les.
