I think this is a 1995 motor, can you tell me for sure? Second what should the mix be. Friend as 1qt for 12gals but that seem like a lot of oil. Third and final, what is the gap on the plugs set at? Thank you in advance.<br /><br />SER: G03799548<br />MOD: J48ESLEOS<br /><br />Johnson spl48

Looks like a 1995 motor, try .030 sparkplug gap, 0ne pint of oil to 6 gallons of gas, 50-1.

to add this guys from my exp... if you are fouling plugs at low speed open the gap as far as .045 your plugs run a bit hotter at the larger gaps and really slows the plug fouling
