I have a Johnson Seahorse...model TD20 and serial number 527743. Its a two cylindar and was only firing on one. Found a plug wire shorting out. What kind of plug wire can i replace the old one with? Also, what year would this motor be? Thanks in advance for any help.

You can buy spark plug lead, by the foot, at your local marine supply dealor. The end will need to be stripped about 1/4" and soldered to the coil. I would replace the old spark plug connectors, with the modern style boot kits, so you don't accidently get shocked, or have a chance for fires, should it ever flood out.
