Hi, we have had this motor for many years in storage.

I believe it is the 1956 Johnson seahorse outboard 7.5 hp

What is this worth today including original compression tank and hose. We haven't tried to start it for 20 years.

If we sell it I don't want to give it away for too little because I didn't know the true value.

I could probably clean it up a lot.

Thanks
Paul

Couple hundred bucks , if it runs . Nothing special about them , thousands and thousands of them out there . Not close to pristine condition and even those are not really sought after . Gas tank could be full of gunk , rust ? Probably 50 - 75 .00 if clean inside. Don't quit your daytime job is all I got for you .

The only way your gonna get any real money is to make it in running condition with a good clean tank, even then only a couple hundred in running condition.. As is, lucky to get 50 bucks if not frozen...

$100 as wall art

If it's running perfect.....$300-$400 to that one guy, $200-$300 to everyone else

24:1 motor, pressure tank, most likely needing coils and crank seal

I would list it on AOMCI

Agreed----$100 as is.----These are nice running motors if in good condition.-----Shops do not work on them , so they are no good to modern folks.----Folks who know how to work on them have a few already.
