Johnson Sea Horse 3 Model Number?

Just purchased an old Johnson Sea Horse 3HP and want to now how old it is. I want to get a manual for it. The problem is that I cannot locate the model number anywhere on the motor. I've looked all over and all I can find is the serial number 3012-51081. Any suggestions.

The first four numbers there are your model number<br /><br />1952-54 3012 3 H/P<br />Which is an evenrude If some one switched the cowling out Both motors were the same

eclimbin, Take a look at my 3 HP tune up project at http://outboard-boat-motor-repair.com where I fixed up a motor that is basically the same as yours. I hope you enjoy your little motor as much as I do mine.
